Deanna Larson – Lead vocals

Deanna has been singing professionally in a variety of bands for 30 years, using her talents to cover Country, Rock-n-Roll, R&B, and Pop. Her influences range from Olivia Newton John to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac to Prince. The highlight of Deanna’s career was performing in New York City, at the infamous Night of a Thousand Stevie’s – Tribute to Stevie Nicks in 2019. For her first performance at the 29th annual NOTS, Deanna received outstanding reviews and shined as one of the debut performers, which you can view here. Deanna was asked to return for the 30th anniversary of NOTS the following year in NYC performing on Broadway at the beautiful Sony Hall with another well received performance. This year she made her debut at the NOTS in New Orleans October 2023!


Sara McElroy – Lead Vocals

Sara has been singing for years in the Colorado music scene. With a major degree from the Colorado State University studying dance and musical theater, she brings an amazing presence to the stage. Sara is also a lead vocalist in I and the Many Band based out of CO.


Makayla Dooley – Lead Vocals and Keys


Makayla Dooley grew up the daughter of a music teacher, beginning piano instruction at 5 years old. At age 9, she learned flute & at 12 picked up trombone. She always sang in choirs at church and school & later studied vocal jazz at the collegiate level. She attended the University of Northern Colorado to obtain her bachelor’s degree in jazz piano performance. 

Immediately after graduating Makayla took a month long hiatus from playing piano & decided to explore more singer-songwriter genres of music. While traveling the world & working on cruise ships she began to write original music. Since returning to Colorado in 2017 she has been teaching, performing & recording. You can find her at R&R every  Monday from 8-11pm hosting live karaoke. She is passionate about encouraging authentic expression & accepting humanity in all our messiness, using music to connect, express & navigate life. 


Chris comes from a musical family in Upstate New York. With a brother who was a professional drummer, Chris grew up with the sounds of James Brown, Four Tops, Chicago, Tower of Power and other great 70's funk bands. Influences then turned to the Beatles, Police, Steely Dan, Yes, Rush, Neville Brothers, and other great Rock, Funk, Jazz and Blues bands. Chris has handled the bass duties in Colorado for Swamp Molly, Funkiphino, Thumpin', The Champions, CupaJo and other projects.

Donny Dark – Guitar

Guitarist Donny Dark, aka Don Millan, is originally from Santiago Chile.  Moving to the USA at the tender age of three, the music of Elvis, Chubby Checker and later the Beatles inspired Donny to take up the guitar.  Beginning with nightclubs at age 15, he continues delivering his searing guitar work throughout Denver and the Front Range. 


Glenn Tapia – Bass

Glenn is native to the Colorado music community and has been playing semi-professionally for well over 20 years.  Glenn’s musical pedigree spans signed and unsigned rock, blues, funk and jazz artists as he has written, recorded and performed with many award-winning and award-nominated acts throughout the last 3 decades in Colorado and regionally.  Glenn is influenced by 60s, 70s, and 80s era bassists such as George Porter Jr, “Rock” Jones, Steve Harris and many other assertive pocket players.  Glenn is co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Bass Slam – a local community and conduit for the rocky mountain region bass guitar community.   Glenn’s personal mission statement towards music is that ‘Groove is the Most Important Message’ – an edict that is emblazoned in artwork on all his performing bass guitars.  Glenn plays Fender and Overwater basses with Genzler Amplification
